1. Likes and dislikes of this project…..any suggestions on how to improve???

I believe that this project was quite good as we had our own folder to keep us on track and because we have completed a few practicals. What I didnt like about this project was that we had to write all the practicals in our book. I think it could be better next project by not making us write up as many practicals. But overall it was a good project.

2. What areas do you think you have improved in from project 1 to project 4?

Putting more effort into my work and working more in a team.

3. What further skills would you like to develop over the next few projects?

Staying on track and completing all set work with my best effort.

  1. Analyse why red sunsets can sometimes be more impressive when there is more dust or pollution in the air than usual.

When light scatters it is because molecules of gas and dust in the atmosphere changes the the direction of light. If there are more molecules of gas or dust in the atmosphere the blue light rays will scatter a lot more leaving the red and orange more impressive than normal.

  1. Describe what happens inside water droplets to cause a rainbow and explain how you can tell whether a rainbow is a primary or secondary.

Fibre optic technology offers many advantages when used in medical applications.

  1. describe how optical fibre may be used in medical applications

Optical fibre has been used in endoscopes, bronchoscopes and laparoscopes.

    b. identify the traditional medical techniques that optical fibres might replace

The optical fibre is much better and easier as it doesnt ruin or hurt the human body while the traditional medical techniques could.

    c. Evaluate the benefits of fibre optic technology to medicine

Fibre objects easily and straight away examine the problem more accurately then the traditional medical way and fibre objects also provide a lot more opportunity to learn and find out more of the body.

  • What influences your values about issues relating to your life?
I think sometimes when people are disrespectful on the media and rude that influences me deeply. A perfect example would be the sonny bill william issue. He left his club and the nrl and fled to france and as I follow the nrl and he was playing fot the team I support this issue is related to my life and I value it an important but soar issue.
  • Do you ever compare images/values presented by the media to those of the bible? If so why? If not why not?
Sometimes I do compare images towards the bible but not oftenly. The most recent issue on the media I have compared to the bible is the sonny bill issue once again. To me I think of him as Judas the man who betrayed Jesus as sonny bill william doged his club.
  • Has this project challenged you to examine your values? Why / Why not
The project has challenged me more to examine my values as I have looked and read about of all the social justice issues happening around the world.

  • How do you feel the media portrays social justice issues?

I think that the media expands and exaggerates social justice issues slightly so they can get more people to read or listen to the issue.

  • Has it been difficult to find articles on social justice issues why/why not?

It hasnt been that difficult to find a social justice issue as there is plenty of them around the media.

  • Do you think that the media operates from a moral framework? Give evidence by using your research.

I think the media operates from a moral framework as they have many cases to elaborate and talk about.
