Describe what is a critique.

A critic is where you only identify and explain the important critics in a passage.

A critique can be either positive, negative or mixed meaning that a critique can be positive.

Journal Entry 2

1. Name the issue:

Drink driving and poverty.

2. Describe one media account on this issue:

New figures show that one in every 75 breath tested had been drinking meaning that stats have nearly doubled.

3. Where did you get this media account from? 

I got this from: The daily telegraph July 27 2008.

4. Is this media account correct and reliable? Why?

I think it is correct and reliable as they have tested these things and have proof that drink drivers have doubled.

5. Where else might you be able to find more information about this issue?

You would be able to find more of this case around the internet and in different newspapers.

1. Describe TWO things that you have learnt during this lesson.

We learnt about media watch and how and edited clip is like.

2. Identify TWO areas you want to concentrate on during this project that you think need a greater improvement from the last project.

More cooperation with my group and concentrate more on work.

1. How well did your group work?

I think my group worked quite well.

2. Would you work with the same groups of students again? Why?

I probably would as we completed what we needed to complete in this project.

3. How much effort did you put into this project? What could you have done better?

I think I tried pretty hard but I also think I could of tried slightly harder.

4. Do you think your final wikispace was your best work? Why?

I think my final wikispace was probably nearly my best work but I could of also tried slightly harder as I said before.

5. What did you think of the project when you recieved it? Why? 

I thought the project was going to be a good one as it was based on artwork.

6. What do you think of the project now you have completed it? Why?

I thought it was pretty good and it nearly turned out to I thought it would have.

7. What did you like in the project? Why?
I liked designing our own individual artwork as it gave us a chance to be creative.  
8. What did you not like in the project? Why?
I didnt like doing the other individual tasks because there were to many.
9. How can the teachers make your next project better?
They could give out less individual tasks.

Journal Entry 4

1) What form of medium (music, art or literature ) allows you to best connect with Jesus and Why

I think music would allow me to connect most with Jesus as I like listening to music and when listening to music I often think deeply so I would be able to connect with Jesus.

2) Why has Jesus been portrayed in so many different ways throughout history?

He has been portrayed in so many different ways because he was a saviour and has did so much for everyone and deserves a lot of things. Also people admire him deeply so they enjoy do paint different paintings of him doing different things as he was good at everything.

3) How is Jesus portrayed at Parramatta Marist?

He is our leader and is great and is deeply respected by everyone in Parra marist.

4) What artistic time period do you think best represents your image of Jesus and why?

I think about 550 bc where a lot of byzantine art was produced as these arts had so much amazing things to do with Jesus.

5) Identify one image of Jesus that appeals to you. What do you like about the representation?

I like the image of Jesus when he is delivering the last supper as he is the one in the middle and is holding his hands up. What I like about this portrait is that Jesus is painted like everyone else which is showing how humble he was.

6) What factors currently shape your image of Jesus and why.

I think that this image makes me love Jesus and want to repay him for all the things he has did for us. The reason why is because the artwork shows how humble he is.

Journal 3

1) What words and or images come to mind when you hear the word Jesus.

When I hear the word Jesus I think about how great he was and how he gave his life up on the cross just for us. Also when I hear the word Jesus I imagine him watching over me.

2) Why might it be important for young people to identify with an image of Jesus?

It is important to young people because they need to realise what Jesus has did for us and how much pain he went through just for us so if young people can identify an image of Jesus it would help them think more about Jesus.

3) Where in your life do you most associate with images of Jesus?

I sometime associate these images of Jesus when im praying or mostly when im angry or fustrated as this helps me to calm. I also associate images of Jesus when im weak as it helps me to find strength.

There are 3 rubrics for this project.

2. Describe the purpose of the rubric?

To help people to stay on track and to also help people to achieve the best marks .

3. How can you use the rubric to get the best possible mark?

Follow it and look in the A section.

Journal Entry 1

1. List TWO problems that could occur from students selecting their own groups.

Students could choose their friends and all the smart people would choose each other making the groups not balance with ability.

2. Which type of student do you think would be selected first?

The intelligent ones.

3. Why do you think they were selected first?

People would want these people in their group as they would do a lot of work and get good marks for the groups.

4. Which type of student do you was selected last?

The people who arent as smart as every one and who arent very popular.

5. What beneficial characteristics can you offer to your group?

I can offer things like organisation and cooperation. 

6. List THREE things you personally would like to improve on during this project.

My time management, getting the most possible marks and communicating with my group more.
